N4Cs Receives Generous Gift
N4Cs has received a generous gift from Ellie Buyers-Viehman and David Viehman. The couple donated $5,000 to N4Cs in memory of Ms. Ellie Buyers-Viehman's mother, Elsie P. Buyers. At the couple's request, the money will be used specifically for scholarship aid to help families-in-need become members of N4Cs, and to enable families to participate in activities and programs sponsored by the Center.
Elsie P. Buyers was the initial force behind the idea for a Community Center. She contributed considerable encouragement, ideas, and money during the planning and building process. Because of this enthusiasm, the N4Cs' building is dedicated to her.
