Exciting News for N4Cs

N4Cshas entered an exciting phase of its short life. With the guidance of Unger Consulting Services, N4Cs is developing a strategic plan to ensure its long-term growth.  Janet Unger, president of Unger Consulting Services, has 20 years experience as an independent consultant serving non-profit organizations. She visited N4Cs several times and liked what she saw, particularly the high level of volunteer participation in the Center. Ms. Unger said “For such a young organization, N4Cs has achieved considerable success and positive recognition from the community.”

A large data gathering effort starts the planning process. Part of this exercise includes soliciting input from groups of people who will have the opportunity to express what they like and don’t like about the Center. These groups will include: community leaders in business, education, government, non-profit, and religion; older adults (ages 62 and older); young people (ages 13-19); families with children; and former N4Cs members. If you want to participate in any of these discussions please e-mail Rob Hutchison, Director of N4Cs, at rhutchison@n4cs.org.

Paul Reichart, president of the N4Cs board, believes “this long-range plan is essential to help the center remain viable and vibrant for the future. We’re looking forward to the challenge.”  For additional information please go to N4Cs web site at www.n4cs.org.
