Stained Glass for Beginners
Instructed by Rich Kisner Learn the basic techniques that will allow you to design and build simple stained glass panels. The class is held on Wednesdays 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm on the following dates: October 15, 22, 29, November 5, 12, 19
Equipment Needs: Each participant will have several tool options when taking this course. These options will be discussed at the first class. Cost is $30 for Members and $38 for Non-members. Materials to complete this course will be provided.
Option 1. Each student will need to purchase some basic tools at a cost of approximately $30.00. Additional tools are needed and will be provided for the course, however, sharing could cause slack time.
-Option 2. Students may wish to purchase all of the basic tools for themselves. This will reduce slack time and will allow students to work and practice at home. This tool set will cost approximately $80.00
Option 3. A grinder will be available at the center during the course. A grinder is a necessity, so students who choose to pursue this hobby or want to work at home will need to purchase one. A grinder is the most expensive tool needed at a cost of $70 -
